Yes, yes they are.The 2012 Presidential Debate, which (by the time this is published) took place on Oct. 3 from 9-10:30 p.m. Eastern time, almost seemed less like a debate and more like two children fighting over a toy.
Of course, a debate is just that. A debate. It’s arguing back and forth while trying to maintain dignity. It’s proving a point, attempting to win over voters, and trying to prove who the really deserves the presidency.
However, there is a difference between a respectable debate and flat out child’s play. When the participant(s) speak over the moderator repeatedly, completely ignore time constraints, and scoff at each other’s responses, it becomes difficult to take either side seriously.
You can definitely tell the differences in personalities in this presidential debate!
Let’s face it- it’s hard to pick who won this debate. Each candidate had quickfire responses, as should be expected. While the polls may not be split directly down the middle, the debate sure seemed to be. At the end of the day, it’s up to the supporters to decide who they’re going to vote for. Did the debate change your mind, or reinforce your beliefs?
I think the presidential debate would be so much better if they had lightsabers. I KNOW it would be so much better if they had lightsabers.
